Bradley Swaim is a clinically driven optometrist whose passion lies at the intersection of visual health, education, and interdisciplinary care. With advanced training in ocular disease and a meticulous approach to patient evaluation, Bradley strives to deliver exceptional outcomes for every individual he serves.
After earning his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Bradley completed rigorous clinical rotations at top-tier facilities including The Eye Center at SCO, Greenville VA Clinic, and Piedmont EyeCare in Charlotte. These experiences honed his skills in full-scope medical optometry, from managing glaucoma and retinal conditions to fitting complex contact lenses and treating dry eye disease. At the VA, he served veteran populations with advanced ocular pathology, deepening his expertise and reinforcing his commitment to compassionate care.
Licensed to practice optometry in South Carolina and Virginia and currently lives in North Carolina, Bradley continues to integrate the latest research and technology into his patient care while fostering meaningful connections.
Before optometry school, he built a strong foundation in eye care as an Optometric Technician and Assistant and earned a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Health & Chemistry from East Carolina University (3.9 GPA), where he was also recognized for academic mentorship as an organic chemistry tutor. He believes that great eye care begins with great communication—and he’s proud to be a trusted provider in the Wendell community.
